Deep in the Heart of Texas

We survived Jack's first flight and arrived in Austin for Ryan & Kate's wedding weekend.  We toured the city and enjoyed quality time with the Sandison family. Jack was a champ with all the activities and late nights.

 The plastic shovel is currently a favorite toy and made its own tour of Austin.

 About a week before we left, Jack embarked on full time walking. He wanted to walk everywhere this weekend.

Jack's first flight

At 13 months, Jack experienced his first flight. He had no desire to stay in the seats and wanted to wander the aisle of the plane. Towards the end of the first flight, Jack had a meltdown for about 10 minutes before falling asleep. Thankfully we learned our lesson before the flight home and allowed him to walk around the airport before we boarded the plane.
